This series is a journey into the artist’s extremely intimate dimension, an intentional disclosure of pages from the artist’s personal diary that mark the different stages of the anatomy of the loss of a loved one — the love, the sadness, the grief — that Irina chooses to portray in a candid manner, using canvases as if they were rooms where she can store objects, sounds, and images, memories of a loved one.
